pedestal Santas
Sometimes you want a bit more than a center piece, but nothing as big as a
Christmas tree. The pedestal size Santa is the perfect choice for having both.
The
36" to 42" size Santa works amazing on a pedestal table or column and
brings life to any area it's displayed in. It also is such and eye catching size that
it can be a beautiful focal point for your hearth side and makes an incredible
Memory Santa. Placed in a store front windows or in store displays it can
decorate with style and grace without overwhelming the space.

" What constantly blows my mind is the stuff people entrust me with. It must be my eyes (a gift
from my Mom that I passed to my son) bright hazel green that flare when I’m angry according to
my husband. I think it’s more of what my eyes convey when I talk about the Santas that makes
people trust me. Truth is you can’t have a conversation with me about the making of the Santas
and not hear the passion and feel the sincerity in my voice. That must be it, because people give
me things that I would be absolutely mortified if I lost.

This particular gentleman gave me his Dad’s wedding ring, watch, his pipe… which is so
awesome, a couple of tie pins and an incredible set of golden and ruby wings he got while in the
service. I always ask for a picture and so he  brought me a cute black and white picture of his
brothers and him posing at Christmas when they were young. To keep with the World War II look
I put it in a vintage frame.

We found some army green wide corduroy for the coat and a cream soft burlap for the skirt to
make it look very masculine, but still be beautiful. Back to Mom’s brilliance…she some how
figured out a way to make a pocket out of the materials stitching that when she finished looked
like the left pocket on an army jacket…she placed the wings on it and Oh my goodness…it was
perfect! Absolutely perfect!

The expression on the face of the grown man who ordered this when he saw it for the first time
reminds me of why I love my job. The tears that brimmed over the immediate association he felt
to his Father through the Santa I had created touched a part of him that I feel honored to be let in
to. That's it, I feel
honored to do what I do when it comes to Memory Santas". ~ Kimberly
