| Corner Santas |
~ CORNER SIZE SANTA ~ "The height of this Santa, ranging from 42" to 48" inches, makes it the perfect Santa to use as a Heirloom Santa like the one pictured above. Donna and I used things from our own history to create the Santa we display in our booth. The quilt was made by our grandmother. Too thread bare to use on a bed, but perfect to sew into a cloak. The history is still there but now it is in a viable piece of fabulous holiday decor. The baby boots were our Dad's, the doll our mom played with as a little girl. Pictured in the photo we have our great Aunt Ida and her husband Floyd. Theirs was a true love story. We have the original marriage licence and a love letter he wrote to her during the war. | This is another great example of a corner size Santa this time used as a Memory Santa. Our Aunt Eunice wanted a special way to remember her parents, so we created this wonderful Santa that she loves so much she keeps it up all year long. It has a fur stole that around the cloak that belonged to her mother Lottie. Mom made from one of Lottie's hand sewn quilts. The doll you see was one of the dolls Lottie kept with her in the nursing home, so it has such sentimental value to Aunt Eunice. The wooden fan was made by Eunice as a child as a present to her parents. There's also a family Bible and I scanned a page from it to show the union of Lottie and her husband Worth's marriage. We also try to incorporate a picture of the person when you are honoring someone in a Memory Santa. You can rest assured we will use a scanned copy and return your original or you can always email a picture to us. These Memory Santas have become one of the most special parts of what we do because we see how much the recipients connect with the Santas.
